Plant propagation (free workshop)

  • Montgomery College Food Forest 712 Philadelphia avenue Takoma Park United States (map)

In this workshop we will focus on PLANT PROPAGATION!! This topic is often overlooked but one of the most important and magical skills to cultivate when it comes to working with plants 🌰 🌱 ✨

Not only will we talk about different methods of propagation but we will actually propagate Elderberry cuttings, divide comfrey roots, do some guerilla gardening, and you will walk home with your own plant friends to propagate.

We will also discuss the medicinal properties of elderberry and other plants/mushrooms and how to use them.

Please don't hesitate to bring friends and & family who might be interested!

When: 12:00pm and will last about 2 hours

Where: Montgomery College Food Forest, 712 Philadelphia Avenue, Takoma Park, MD, 20912

Please RSVP so we have a sense of numbers. And bring a pair of hand pruners if you have them to use during the workshop! We look forward to seeing you!
